Switching to EMUCU is Easy!
Make the switch in two easy steps:
Step 1: Open an EMUCU checking account.
Get a checking account application by visiting any branch location, calling our Member Service Phone Center at 734-662-8200 or 800-968-8628, or by clicking the Contact Us button and requesting one be sent to you.
Step 2: Fill out forms.
Once your EMUCU checking account is open, you can begin the switch. Click the above button to find the necessary forms.
- Direct Deposit form: Complete this form and send it to your present employer with a voided check.
- Automatic Payment form: Submit this form to all company(s) that are withdrawing from your previous checking account.
Once your Direct Deposit and Automatic Payments have been set-up with EMUCU, and all of your checks have cleared from your previous checking account, you can close that account.
- Close a Former Account form: Complete this form and mail it to the financial institution that had your previous checking account.
